Forging milling tool is a casing window opening tool that integrates casing cutting and segment milling functions. The segment milling machine is inserted into the casing with the drilling tool assembly to cut the casing at the designated position first. After the casing is completely cut, it is directly milled downwards from that position, and after reaching a certain length, the casing window opening task is completed. It has a simple structure and is easy to operate and use, making it a very effective casing window opening tool.

During use, the forging and milling tool is lowered into the designated position inside the casing along with the drilling tool assembly. After starting the rotary table, the pump pressure is activated, and the pressure pushes the piston inside the tool downwards. The lower conical surface of the piston pushes the cutting tool outward from inside the tool to cut the casing. When the cutting tool opens to its maximum diameter, the casing is completely cut off, the piston bypass valve opens, and the pump pressure decreases. Under continuous pump pressure supply, the cutting tool remains open and the casing can be directly milled downwards.

After stopping the pump, the piston resets under the action of the spring, and the blade automatically retracts.
